A Journey Without a Map

River City Bangkok warmly invites you into “A Journey Without a Map”, a group exhibition inspired by The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the beloved classic by L. Frank Baum. It is the tale of Dorothy, an ordinary girl, swept away by a sudden cyclone from everything she knows into the strange and shimmering land of Oz. Her journey does not begin with a wish—but with a surprise. Much like our own lives, where, without warning, we are carried off course… and into the unknown.

This exhibition invites you to become Dorothy—to be swept away from the familiar, and into a journey without certainty or direction. Step into worlds shaped by the imaginations and intimate perspectives of ten artists: ANO., Bakumbaa, give.me.museums, Keng Jeans, Little Theater, meltboy, Pi-near, RomanticRaiPoet, Tangent, and Thani. Each artist reimagines the feeling of “losing one’s way” in their own voice—whether wandering through the outer world, or drifting deeper into the landscapes within.
